Install Oracle 10g on Ubuntu Feisty Fawn Wed - Jun 20, 2007

After you have installed Ubuntu 7.04 successfully and additional tools has been added before Oracle software installation process.

Now, continue to install Oracle 10g (Release 2) on Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn). The steps are generally same as described by Dizwell Informatics. I thought is clear enough so i didn’t need to rewrite the steps here.

Below is just for my reference

./runInstaller -ignoreSysPrereqs

Option -ignoreSysPrereqs used in case you didn’t create or edit /etc/redhat-release file.
